Controlled explosion of main boiler house building at Inverkip Power station february 2013

6th february 2013 – As part of the clearing of the site, a controlled explosion brought down the final main boiler house building at Inverkip power station.

Its chimney, the tallest free standing structure in scotland, is due for demolition in the summer.
